Bite-size behaviour changes

Run time: 17.30 – 18.30

Ever promised yourself you’ll eat better, but reached for the biscuits anyway?
You’re not the only one. Here, Natalia Lawrence (University of Exeter) delves into the question of why we eat what we eat and why lasting changes in our diets are so hard to stick to. Natalia’s work draws on psychology research into the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that contribute to our food choices. Covering response inhibition training and plant-based meals, digital innovation and AI approaches, come along to discover how small shifts in behaviour can make a big difference for both our health and the planet.
If you want to go from good intentions to long-lasting habits, this is the talk for you.
