Plan Z: Should scientists get arrested for climate action?
Run time: 14.00 – 15.00
Are scientists doing enough to sound the alarm about climate breakdown?
As the UK government ignores mounting evidence of environmental collapse, the lives of a psychologist, a microbiologist and an ecologist collide outside of Parliament. Coming together to warn the public directly of climate catastrophe, the scientists risk arrest, criminal records and their professional reputations. But are these activists really climate criminals, or was protest their last resort?
This short documentary, created by film makers Louisa Jones and Vladimir Morozov, and panel discussion will explore the world of activism and the power of protest when the usual avenues for change fail.
