This screening of award-winning short films, presented by artists Vicky Isley and Paul Smith (boredomresearch), transforms complex biological and ecological concepts into striking visual experiences. From imagined lifeforms thriving in toxic environments to the spread of malaria seen through a mosquito’s eyes, and the immune system reimagined as a living forest, each film reveals the hidden connections between bodies, species and environments.
Come along to reflect on the fragility, resilience and deep interdependence of life on Earth and meet the filmmakers themselves.
