You, Me & Debussy

Run time: 18.00 – 19.00

Step into a living, breathing musical performance and hear how sound can shape our spaces, our perceptions and even our relationship with the past.
Connect with 19th century music in a modern way as you experience a performance carefully created by Drew Crawford (Department of Music, University of Southampton). Using two pianos across different spaces, Drew will immerse you in reimagined melodies inspired by one of the great French composers, Claude Debussy.
Afterwards, you’ll hear about how neuroscience, deep listening and our awareness of the environment interact to create this unmissable immersive encounter.
Prepare yourself for a performance that feels both electronic and organic, familiar and estranged.
